Photo Grabbing from Candifier.

I have to apologize for the photos that are now in another blog site. When I was new to this, I remember once being asked if they can use my photos and I vaguely remember saying yes....but now, I am not comfortable with it anymore. I also think that it will be the last time I blog about parties and its guest list. I do hope that both my regular readers and this particular blog site will understand my sentiments.

I am not naman Showbiz or Socialite! In my profile I put down that I am just a girl who likes to blab blab blab and blabber away. But I think it's a pity that something innocent (my posts) are being used to be made fun of. But whenever there is an event I am invited to, I make sure I ask permission first if I can blog about it. If the host says no, I totally respect and understand it.

To Tessa, Anton, Robbie and Margarita, my apologies.

And for the other blog site, "Kahit na ba regular reader ako, kayo talaga! Bad girls! Spank spank spank. I will make kurot your singits!"

Lifestyle Asia Cover for July.

I haven't gotten a copy but I hope you have. Will blog about it more tomorrow. In the meantime, here's another sneak peek.

Your Queen has Found Her Home.

Near Innsbruck - Munich - Kitzbuehel in Europe, the Castle fit for your Queen has been found. It is in Austria, a Tyrolian beauty. An exceptional castle in very good condition and villa (former pavillion of Paris world exhibition 1867) is completely renovated and ready for your Highness to move in.

I just am not sure that this Queen feels like Royalty in the streets of Scout Area in Quezon City anymore. It is time to uprade and live where I truly belong. A castle.

With 2 acres of land, over than 9000sft /900m2 living space, my castle is 10 stories high, has 10 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, garage for my 3 Bentleys, 2 Ferraris, 1 Honda CRV (can't really live without my car), a library, has a lake waterfront, and maids quarters for my ladies-in-waiting.

Built as a residence in 1888 (prosperity year), my Castle is a perfect place for me to rule my Kingdom. I would hold feasts at my courtyard every Friday and serve lechon baka, Baliwag Chicken and San Miguel Beer to all my people. I will be the most beloved Queen that ever was.

Now, how do I come up with PHP272,610,000!!! I guess it is time to break the piggy bank!

Showbiz Overdose at Ruffa's Birthday!

I have never seen so many celebrities all under one roof before. The fashion industry was only a spec amongst the crowd of the well attended birthday party of Ruffa Gutierrez hosted by Vicki Belo.

Held at the Blue Leaf Pavilion at the Fort, fuschia and lime green themed party gave off a very festive mood. But how can you appreciate the decor when there are so many celebrities around? I, for one, do not watch TV but of course I know these people through magazines, billboards and some as my friends and clients.

Here's Ruffa and the person responsible for her gowns that evening, the favorite of both showbiz personalities and socialites, Rajo Laurel.

All in all, it was truly a fun evening with great food by Margarita Fores. Sorry, no food photos this time.

The Entrance greeted us with the new endorser of Vicki Belo Medical Group, the birthday girl.

Vina Morales looked stunning with this super duper cute dress.

John Estrada and girlfriend Priscilla Meirelles.

Aiko Melendez and new boyfriend? They were pretty sweet. Check out the sparklers! My kinda girl!

Assunta de Rossi in oh-so-red lipstick!

Glamorous, Editor-in-Chief, Carla Sibal and AG, who didn't even realize that he was amongst the most popular people in the country.

Beautiful is not good enough a word for this lady. KC Concepcion and handsome Richard Gutierrez make a great looking couple.

Donita Rose always brings light into any room.

Cutie-pies, Anne Curtis and Sam Milby.

My favorite of all TV celebrities, Lucy Torres-Gomez. Glad to see that she wore earrings that I designed for her. :)

Maricel Laxa and hubby Anthony Pangilinan.
The equally famous brother of Ruffa, Raymond Gutierrez.

Editor-in-Chief of Philippine Tatler, Anton San Diego and the lady who sprinkled pixie dust all over, Tessa Prieto-Valdes.

My teenage all-time crush, Richard Gomez. (Abby, I bet you are so jealous! BWA HA HA!)

Angel Locsin whose face is all over the billboards on EDSA was breathtaking. Here she is posing with equally stunning ladies, publisher Sari Yap and Carla Sibal.

Who doesn't know the famous Robbie Carmona?
Host of the party, Vicki Belo and your bloggerina.
Geneva Cruz-Montero came to the party without her hottie of a husband, KC.
Jessa Zaragoza and Dingdong Avanzado.
Life of the party, Maurice Arcache and Lt. Col. Tingting Cojuangco, who, in my opinion, wore the most beautiful dress that evening.

Mother of the celebrant, Annabel Rama made sure that everyone was comfortable and attended to.

Your bloggerina wearing a Puey Quinones creation and the Cheffie. (He hates it when I call him that, BWA HA HA!)

Two of my favorite things, Rajo and AG. One owes another a schnitzel.

Puey's Corner

With KC Concepcion.

With AG.

With Mighty Mich Dulce.

With your bloggerina.

The look.

All Hail the Queen Candifier of Blogspot.

I recently finished the book "The Other Boleyn Girl" by Philippa Gregory and now working on "Mary, Bloody Mary" by Carolyn Meyer. To be quite honest, while reading these books, I use an English accent. I am quite fond of using this accent because it makes me feel like I truly belong in that era. After I was done with the first book, the accent stayed with me and it was quite delightful to see the reaction of my people when I talked to them.

"Chambermaid! Go the the town and fetch me the freshest meats for the festival!"
(Yaya, can you go to the grocery and buy bacon?")

"Horseman! Ready my horse, quickly! I would like to ride to the woods with the King."
(Teddy, please wash my car, I am going out on a date.")

"My good sir, would you be kind enough to tell the King that I shall not be present during dinner as I have important matters to attend to. Purchasing new silk for my gown is surely more important than being in court."
(Kuya, tell Dad that I can't join you guys for dinner because I have to go shopping for a new dress for a party.")

How fascinating this era is for me. The extravagant lifestyle, the politics, the love affairs. King Henry VIII's life and unstoppable lust for women and how the same women he loved, he had beheaded. That such a man had so much power and how carelessly he had used it. Although there were many great things this King had done for England as well. His actions however showed how easy it was to take a life. It was so easy for the King to dispose anybody that he did not fancy. A scary time to live in but I think I would have liked it.

I have always thought that I would make an outstanding Queen. I am good at ordering people around and yet I am sincere and gentle to my followers. I know for a fact that I would look magnificent with a crown on my head. I am one to make sure that my King is pleased with my actions and that I would make the people in his kingdom adore us for all time.

But now comes the real challenge. What tiara should I wear? There are just so many to choose from that I am developing a headache from all the crowns available. Perhaps if I showed you, the citizens of Blogspot, you will understand this huge undertaking that I am now facing.

With this in mind, I solemnly declare that from now on, I shall be known and remembered as Queen Candifier of Blogspot. I must admit that I have come to like the sound of that. Makes perfect sense since I have once been called SNOOTY. I might as well live up to the name.

Now go and spread the word to the Kingdom. The Queen has arrived.
