Xeng and Tessa!

Event: Tessa and Xeng's birthday party
Venue: Embassy
Date: Jan. 30, 2008. 10 pm
Guests: The whole Metro Manila!

As you can probably tell, my date this evening is Puey (he is in almost every photo that I took). Anyway, as the alcohol filled me up, my body wanted to retire early and I left my date and the party scene at 1:30 am. But the fun went till 5 am and hearing about it is enough to make me exhausted. GOSH! I am getting OLD!!!

But so is Tessa Dragon of L'Oreal and Xeng Zulueta of Shu Uemura who turned a year older. To these girls who are responsible for making a LOT of women have flawless skin and beautifully made up, you both are beautiful inside and out. Happy Birthday!

The birthday girl, Xeng Zulueta.

Janina and her hubby, Lucille Dizon and PQ. We also celebrated the birthday of LUCILLE when the clock turned 12. I was so glad that she is finally able to party with me. I hope it won't be the last time. (She just gave birth 4 months ago, I am such a bad influence.)

Janina and Toby.

Chase Yap and yours truly. It's because of Chase that I finally found my purpose in life. My path to be happy and fulfilled. To you, my readers, you should also follow this road to unending misery and loneliness. Thanks Chase!

Ginny in the Bottle.

Event: Ginny Dizon's Birthday Celebration
Date: January 19, 2008
Venue: Shangri-la Cinema, Larry's Bar at Fort
Time: 9 pm to 2 am
Guests: Anne and JC Marcelino, Sherwin Ricafrente, Lucille and CJ Dizon, Apollo and Lisa Meneses, Pam Obieta, Pamie and Ivan Singson, Evan Weybright, Mon and Maricel Dizon, Cedric Dizon and yours truly.

Every year, Ginny celebrates her birthday by treating her family and close friends to a movie and then dinner/coffee/dessert afterwards. This year was no different except since Harry Potter is going through puberty and Lord of the Rings melted the "precious" ring, we watched an equally good movie, National Treasure. I liked it a lot except I do not like the hair of Nicolas Cage. Really bugged me.

Since this batch of people are not so much the Embassy or Ascend kinda gang, I thought that a calmer Larry's Bar is the place to be. I always recommend to my friends Larry's Bar because I like the food, service, ambiance and the dessert.

To Ginny, the oracle of the Dizon Family, the one who has all the answers except how to fix her hair, a gift and a blessing to my life, the one who makes some of my wishes come true, my safe storage for my deepest and darkest secrets (that's a whole lot!!), HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!

The guests, Anne, JC and Sherwin.
Pam, Lissa and Apollo.
Cedric and Ivan.
Pamie and the birthday girl.
Cj and Lucille.
Maricel and Mon Dizon.

Looking Through the Fashion Spread.

I was wasting my time away in our library at home and saw old magazines tied up. Wondering why they were bunched together and feeling like Nancy Drew, I investigated the materials that were neatly stored away in a corner by my mother.

After the first mag, I realized that mumsy keeps all the magazines that featured Jul B. Dizon Jewellery and honestly, I was not even aware of some of the issues that came out that used our pieces. It was interesting and thought that I should share it to you good folks who like to waste your time reading my blog (hehe).
